I feel like even with the probable joint pain hands dog will have that’s at least workaroundable, face cat will be a physical sentient yokai. Hands dog is a normal dog that happens to unfortunately have hands, while face cat is a possessed demonic creature.

Seriously consideration: when you get facekitten, I presume it's face is that of a toddler. Adorable beyond belief. Then their face goes through childhood and puberty into adulthood.
